DJIDADA I love this record bc it reminds me of the 70s sound I have been listening to as a child. Espacially "Midnight" is the style of Silesian Blues Band, a polish band which was my father's very favourite band. This sound is surrounding me always and forever...💚💚 Love it and can't stop listening!!!

Golden Mean is the brand new band formed by Tom Driessler of Yussef Kamaal and Luke Wynter of Nubiyan Twist... add to that killer synths from Lyle Barton and beats from Noya Rao's Matt Davies and you have 5 tracks that will keep you coming back for more.

The band take their name from the mysterious calculation that has consistently cropped up throughout the study of Music, Nature, History and Math; Also known as the Golden Ratio. Expect trippy beats, synths, catchy hooks, solos, and uptempo grooves.

Having listened to this stunning album a few time I will try my best to put into words of the creative attributes of this trio. First things first here is a unit that understands how to feed off each other’s energy. They really do have an impeccable understanding of the background of each other’s musical abilities and would have had the genius Thelonius in awe with his Phineas Newborn Junior approach.
